Two years ago we brought the Signature Market to HF. A great way to automate signature advertising with our own internal reward point system. A revolutionary feature. See the original release thread here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5864263
Today we bring you major improvements to the system. First, we add two new sortable columns to the signature page listing. You can now view and sort by the total number of orders a member has sold and you can also sort by the number of posts per day (past month) that a member makes.
Check it out with signature market link in the first paragraph of this thread. This has been a long desired feature and I am happy to introduce it to HF.
Another happy change is that inactive/non-selling signatures will be removed from listing. Your signature didn't sell this week? We're removing it from view. You'll need to figure out why you aren't selling and add it back. Make more posts. Lower your price. Something, but no longer will people sit on the sigmarket page for months and months at a time.
We have also added a 5% Stanley Byte fee for the signature market. This fee is reflected at time of purchase. If you as a seller set your signature for 100 Bytes, the buyer will pay 100 Bytes, you will receive 95 and Stanley will receive 5. To prepare members for this change we have removed all signatures that are listed as "for sale" (existing orders continue as normal). If you wish to sell your signature space then you can do so now.
If that weren't enough... how about the biggest change for the signature market? It can be automated now. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6083782
We have added the Signature Market to HF APIv2. This means that you can view, order, and update signature market settings programmatically using the API. I'm sure we'll see some members create new cool things using the Sig Market API.
Thanks and enjoy.
