Bitcoin is old, slow and dead, buy altcoins.

Almost everyday I see people asking about a new bitcoin, in which altcoin they should invest and how altcoins are faster or that altcoins can handle many transactions per block compared to btc network.

I'll try to explain to all of them why there's no next bitcoin and that the Bitcoin is one, real and legit.

Bitcoin dominance is 60% right now, few months ago it was 70% (some money invested in altcoins-tokens due to DeFi ETH 2.0staking projects-scams-FOMO).

Bitcoin's network has 85% hash-power-energy-consume of the crypto market. There's no coin that can fight BTC network. For those who can't understand, 51% attack happened multiple times in the past to many altcoins due to energy cost is so low so few people preferred to  spend few million dollars to attack the altcoin's network and get more million back. That makes all these altcoins super unsafe. Bitcoin network is stable and safe, if someone try to 51% attack the network, he'll risk few trillion dollars and in the end he probably won't manage to make it and he-they'll end up with a big loss.

Bitcoin grew up in a unique enviroment. Noone trusted that technology and managed to survive through years. Bitcoin now is strong, there's no doubt about it.

We don't care if your new altcoin is fast or if it can handle 100000000 transactions per second. Noone cares. Back in 2017 we saw coins with these features that couldn't handle the traffic and couldn't even send a single transaction. Even Ethereum network was dead, literally needed 50-100$ to send a simple transaction and it took hours/days to get confirmations.

Bitcoin is dead again and again and again and again AND GUESS WHAT. I stopped reading articles about how bitcoin gonna crash forever back in 2013-14. Broke people will always be broke as they can't understand what's the future of money.

If after all you want, obviously you're free to buy your XRP or BCH or tokens and dream to be a millionaire in few years, noone can stop you from buying. It's better for us, more bitcoins for people who can actually use their brain and understand the differences.

Altcoins are premined 20-30% and pumping/dumping from whales who want to get your money. Every single developer will sell his shitty altcoin to be a millionaire.

On the other hand. guess what happened with Satoshi and Bitcoin.

HODL boys, we trust this technology. We are all Satoshi.

This statement is speculative and is an opinion held by you (and perhaps many others). Bash as many alt-coins as you want, but utility and use-cases (technology & real world application) will determine the success of all crypto as a whole in the future. It's the reason why big govt, institutions, banks, FinTech as a whole, and other organizations have steered into other avenues regarding blockchain.

Not mentioning any coins with this statment, but the things I said are true. To anyone reading this thread, read my response as well, and do your own research.

Only time will tell which coins are on the top in any duration of time. Everything else is purely speculative.
Time as of now said that BTC is the only trustable and store of value coin. It's in the 1st place and it'll stay there.

Of course people should do their own research, but they'll pretty soon understand that BTC is the only solution.

All the altcoins are scammy-moneymaking projects developed by guys who want to have profits as you buy in. It's very simple.

So a stable-coin with verified backings isn't included in the "only trustable and store of value" coin? I challenge you because you talk with absolutes. I understand the pro-enthusiasm towards BTC, but it's reckless to speak with such absolutes on a site like this where users can be influenced easily. At best, it's wise to share your views, why they may be, but offer a disclaimer.

Do as you please, but I'm just playing advocate to be responsible.

Which coin is stable with verified backings?

https://btconethereum.com/ I appreciate BTC hodlers having ETH and strengthening Ethereum by paying ETH miners.

I hold few eth but only for profits and I know clearly that it's not safe at all. wbtc and other shitty schemes are completely useless for me, I won't judge those who buy though like I don't judge the guys who buy altcoins.

Everyone gets what they deserve in the end😎

This statement just proves you have no business talking about investments. Don't invest in things you don't believe in. Or, at least be upfront and say you're gambling on a few ETH. It's like I held Boeing after it crashed and Carnival and sold for a profit. It was some fun gambles because I don't believe in the underlying businesses. But it's hardly an investment if you don't believe in the underlying asset.

What's with everyone being so absolutist about crypto? You rarely hear anyone say: I only invest in Disney because every other company is terrible in comparison. Crypto is a whole new asset class, it's unlikely just 1 will succeed. Mostly likely a few will succeed (in my opinion).

Yea I am holding for the long term I have heard so many "experts" say bitcoin is dead sell now or you will regret it guess what it is still going strong. I can't believe how many people panic sell just because it drops or they read a bad article somewhere the market will always go up and down that is how it goes.

If you trust usdc or usdt it's kinda same if you trust usd. Press a button and print money. That's not how money works ✌✌

Anyone that believes alts are going to be gain top position over BTC are fooling themselves. Name one alt-coin that's not #1 trading pair is BTC/ALT.

BTC will continue to dominate if only for that simple reason. Even if mass adoption of a utility coin like Ethereum or an ERC-20 token, it is still BTC that will be of higher value for Market Cap.

Bitcoin, is the original and trusted crypto currency. Everything else is secondary.
