Wireless CCTV access

Theoretically, if i wanted to access my buildings CCTV, how would I?

They are wireless and assume are connected to the wifi network staff use?

If I carried out a De-auth attack to then get the password to the locked network, what could i do from there? Or would that not work? Theoretically
1.
To access your CCTV, you first have to figure out what devices they are using. Are the using IP cameras or are they using Analog Cameras

Then, you have to figure if the device is how it is being streamed and where it is being streamed. Is the connection wireless or wired? Is it being recorded from a DVR or is it being recorded from an NVR?

Also, check if the cameras/systems have security measures and where the cameras are being placed

Just do a little bit of resonance and research before you start.

2.
No, and No

Do not assume that all cameras will be wireless. Some will be wired for different reasons

Do not assume that cameras are connected to the same network. Most security cameras are connected to a private network that is separated from a public network and will make finding IP cameras a little harder to find.

3.

Theoretically, you could use the de-auth attack to access the packets and have them stream directly to another device be careful. As I have said, certain security systems have anti-tamper measures that can cause problems. For example: If the network detects that another device is no longer connected, then a security alert can be sent out that would cause more trouble than what it is worth.
Well Things isn't THAT easy as de-auth and crack the handshake and get access.. Some uses IP, some uses vendor specific programs, or specific protocols. there are no "Ultimate" solutions to this.. Only thing that works is to figure out vendor model and do some serious research
They probably aren’t wireless for one. Unless you know the brand then it’s probably PoE or analog.

Well it depends, are you sure they are wireless?
Also do you know the brand?

So it is possible YES. i have done it before when I was trying to access a meat plant. you need to know the brand of camera, you gotta use little SE and find the brand. Once that then you will know what you are dealing with, the building is a apartment building or a office business place.
ahh this reminds me of one of my first hacks a old chinese restaurant had a wep network that I got into and the router had a default admin password accessed it and realized they had their dvr system connected to the same network big surprise when It turned out to use another default password got into the dvr and was able to watch people enjoying their meals but what I found out is they had like a apartment complex in the back where the staff lived and each apartment had a camera pointed at their door was really interesting for my first hacks

Its always fun watching things like that, when I was 15 same thing happened to me I was watching a restaurant for like a week, Then it got robbed..... it was sad but interesting to see a robbery happening before your eyes.

There are steps to follow:
1. Make sure they are on the wireless network by getting access to the connected network and scanning for all the devices on the router
2. Check for the brand, and the possible application used to access the Cameras
3. Get Hacking and brute force on the network, it is all about trial and error, read more. good luck.

I better not write it👌😎
+ Rep for a friend for great answer👍
This place could be yours, click here for details. 📢
I've been getting into catching frequencies and pushing into Linux.

Rather than hacking their devices and network, I want to simply watch from the sidelines with them never knowing
