Most logical (IF the admin isnt a total baka) is separated either by a subnet or a fysical net.

This worked on the security cameras at my home, it was set up by my father and I now have the ability to turn some on and off lol

Better fix the exploit then or disable internet access, otherwise other "people" will have access to your home network.
