Next time please use the HF contract system.
Also , please post where he gave you his Skype account or how you recieved it.
Consider taking a quick video of his Skype username associated with the account he gave you, in text, on HF.

Alrighty thanks I will make a video, or even let a mod login my skype account if needed.

I got his contact from here:

I read the rules, its just there used to be way different ways on how deals worked on HF. I was used to the old set of rules.

Anyways, the point is, this guy is a scammer. I've showed lots of proof, yet he is still unbanned.

He will remain unbanned.

You didn’t use the Contracts system. And in any event, staff don’t get involved in Deal Disputes generally. And they’re definitely not going to get involved to do anything other than ban you for not using the contract system.

Best bet is to not reply to this thread anymore and hope a staff member doesn’t see it.

Nah, I've been on HF for over 10 years. If this is how HF is ran nowadays where the guy who got scammed gets banned, and the scammers goes free, then please do ban me. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Don’t blame the site. Take a look at ways you can better protect yourself using the marketplace.

Site policy says you have to use a contract. You’re admitting to not using one. If staff decides to ban you, it might be a bitter pill to swallow, but at least you’ll know for next time. In the meantime the above links might help you to understand the changes to the Marketplace that can help you avoid being scammed.

Consider upgrading your account to be able to use the Trust Scan and 2FA features too, which add yet another additional layer of security to your marketplace transactions in helping to provide extra information to inform your decision on who to deal with.
