First of all I'll say that I actually agree. We ordered S Plaid that we should receive around November and it is an amazing car.
Making another version that just a little bit fast/stronger (S Plaid does 1.9seconds 0-60) seems unnecessary.
They should leave some hype for the roadster.

Other than me agreeing with the move I honestly don't think they were actually ready for something like this and maybe even canceled because they didn't think they can make it and they just had good excuse.

Let me know how that goes. I heard they say a month and then they keep extending it.
