Make New/Separate E-Whoring Forum (Section)

The E-Whoring sub-forum is the most active area in the "Hacking" section of Hack Forums and for good reason. There is a whole ecosystem that goes along with e-whoring, it's constantly evolving and doesn't show any sign of slowing down in the foreseeable future.

The only down side to this sub-forum is that it's crowded with "Comment / inbox for resource" posts, making it more difficult to find other useful information like tutorials, discussions and on-topic threads.

I feel that the members of Hack Forums could really benefit by seperating the E-Whoring sub-forum and making it it's own forum in the "Hacking" section of the site along with adding a sub-forum to it for "Resources". This will make it a lot easier for members to find what they're looking for.

Sure, you can say "that's what the search tool is for" but most people, myself included normally just go to a sub-forum and look through the first 2 pages and then move on. This will also have a positive impact on the type of content that's posted. People are less inclined to take the time and post high quality tutorials or anything actually helpful out of fear that it's going to be buried by "Comment / inbox for resource" posts within the first few hours.

I made a preview of what this would look like through inspect-element and Photoshop.

Overall imo, I think this doesn't really benefit anything, mainly because your suggestion will turn the Ewhoring section into a bunch of LQ posts begging/asking/spamming. Where your Resources section will be the high quality content on what members want, which doesn't really address the LQ posts issue. It feels you just took a left turn with the spamming posts and not an actual fix with it imo.

More or less, Omniscient controls the layout perspective of the forum to his strategic liking and intentionally set the subforum like that for his own reasons. I'm sure he would have set the Ewhoring section like that by now if it did benefit or at least came across a thought on it before. Goodluck.

Just make a separate sub-section or whatever for free packs, 95% of the posts are free packs anyways, and they are alive since you need to reply to receive them by the OP
I don't see why not. At the very least it would keep the site more organized by separating content from the resources. It would encourage activity and more interaction.
Maybe we can split the ew section. Every time when I open HF I see "free packs" and other LQ spams. Maybe make a ew beginner section.

The E-Whoring section already consists of exactly this.

Not necessarily, it's addressing the issue by separating the threads where members are asking for help from the "Comment / inbox for resource" threads. The main E-Whoring forum will strictly consist of discussions and questions related to E-Whoring.

Like I said, The "E-Whoring" niche is a huge ecosystem that makes up a rather large portion of the website. Hence why it's the most active area in the "Hacking" section of the forum, while It also makes up a fair amount of the marketplace. There are constantly threads every week asking "Is E-Whoring still alive?" because finding a updated tutorial in the forum is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Which is what makes finding high quality posts so difficult, this is exactly why I think my suggestion would make a world of a difference for the growth of the E-Whoring ecosystem on the forum.

I feel like my suggestion could have a really positive impact on the forum, at least for everyone associated with that area of the site.

Start a "master tutorial" list with useful resources in the subforum, if you're lucky, you may get a stickyman award.
That's another issue, the only stickied threads in the sub-forum are paid stickies. Which is why I think that adding the "Resources" sub-forum and moving the stickies there would be a great idea, this would reserve stickies in main E-Whoring section for higher quality guides and tutorials. Don't get me wrong, I would be more than willing to dedicate a few hours to writing a high quality guide for the section if I thought it had a chance of getting stickied, but it doesn't.

This is essentially what my suggestion would do. It would separate thethreads where members are asking for help from the "Comment / inbox for resource" posts.

It's usually not a great idea to suggest removing value from paid stickies. Moving them into a deeper subforum means less visibility, which is contrary to the purpose of a sticky.

And that's why I won't do it. I am not trying to grow that section. I keep getting asked to remove it. Also something I won't do. It's there, I know it's popular, it's just a thing on HF.
