Shoppy.gg changed my crypto address to their own and stole my bitcoins!

Whenever you change a crypto address on shoppy.gg it requires an email confirmation from your email, but the crypto address on my shoppy.gg account was changed to a bitcoin segwit address without receiving any confirmation from my email. (so i didn't notice it for a while and lost $$$ bitcoins)

my shoppy.gg account is not compromised so is my email.

in order to change an address they need to compromise those 2.

so the only explanation here is that the shoppy.gg's admin or someone with access to their backend changed it to their own bitcoin address that's why i didn't receive any email approval/confirmation for the change at all.

TLDR;
shoppy.gg changed the bitcoin address of my store to their OWN bitcoin address, i already lost $$ and would've lost even more if i didn't notice!!

Can anyone else recommend a similar service like shoppy.gg but doesn't screw over their own customers?

i don't know if this is the right section to post this, if not, please transfer if possible or tell me the right section, however this is the only place i think i can post this for now, i apologize if this is the wrong section..
I’ve used Sellix in past and it works good. Not sure about now. You can do some research or ask from guys who have their threads in “NFA Accounts” section

go with sellix and you wont have any problems
What was the address that the bitcoin was sent to?
I'd suggest you Sellix. They recently added Nano and Monero to the other crypto available (BTC, LTC, ETH, BCH). The interface is so much better than Shoppy.
I'd suggest using sell.app, a website made by a member on HF, laso, sucks to hear what happened, it's never nice to get scammed

Is there anything that can be done to retrieve the funds back?

If it could be confirmed that the address belonged to the site, you'd have a case to approach their support with and demand a repayment, you'd just need to be sure it's theirs.

Yes I agree with you that will be a very good case if the address belongs to the site.

Unless some rogue admin put their own address in and then left, then they should have a good case I think, but we need to know the address to be sure.

Yes, i sent the information to their support. I'm waiting for a response for now..
Sucks to hear I would have used sellix instead.
Quite worrying to hear this especially considering a lot of people use the website. I'd be cautious moving forward with them.
