Taking some profits later how should I prepare ?

This would be my first time I have 4 future targets which i will take smaller profits from each of them for Bitcoin which I will take 20% of my overall holdings to rebuy later. My question is what do you guys suggest is easier/safer to rebuy later.

I had really 2 options

1) - sell BTC to kraken and withdraw to bank

2) - sell BTC to USDT or UDC but im still researching on this. So let me know what you guys think atm I have my BTC holdings on a encrypted usb using electrum cold storage which is never online.

So i'll have to find either a ios app to hold either usdc or usdt and either use kraken to exchange or a platform to exchange

what do you guys think also if you have done any of this before let me know how it went. thanks
Apeing in my 100% of my net worth into quick pumps. Surely, it did work out pretty well until you hit one point.
Playing with short-term volitiality was my addiction.

waitt what ? lol
So, you have a couple of options here.

As you realize your profits, do you want to immediately put those profits to work, or do you want to stash that profit for safekeeping? Even if you move your money to stablecoins, you can still safely stake those stablecoins for 5-20% returns depending on the platform and the coin. (Keep in mind that some platforms don't allow you to immediately unstake which may add a delay to your ability to rebuy later).

Take a look at some of the stablecoin yields on Waves.exchange below (Click to View)

If you're not going to put your stablecoins to work, then I'd certainly cash out to bank for safer keeping.

Yeah i was doing research and noticed since im a student / single I don't have to pay any taxes up to 40k since I held longer then a year. Yes I want to hold via stable coin strictly on just getting back into the market later in life. I'm not to serious into making that money work since I have other assets working for me irl for example real estate.

In that case, you can still make a nice 11% on your stablecoins with no lock up period. That way, the very moment you want to use them again to buy another coin/token, you can.

This is on the Polygon network staking Tether + Terra USD, but there are similar pools on Ethereum, BSC, AVAX, Fantom, etc.

However, if you're certain you'd rather not stake, just hold, then I would choose USDC over USDT. Better yet, I'd choose DAI.

do you suggest I buy a trezor to hold both BTC and USDC / DAI since I don' t have any location to hold stable. Or should I go with like a ios app or kraken. BTW thanks for all the knowledge man means a lot.

I personally do not use a hardware wallet, almost entirely out of laziness, but they do offer obvious and immediate benefits that definitely make trading more secure, and in some cases, easier. If you do go down the hardware wallet route, I like Ledger over Trezor, it has some advantages that make it the better buy for your money in my opinion.

I personally hold my coins off of exchanges, I don't trust exchanges not to get hacked or not to close my account suddenly and/or randomly. As much as possible I download the official wallets of that blockchain, or a compatible wallet like Metamask.

I'm far from the most knowledgeable on staking stablecoins. By all means suggest as many other platforms as you'd like. I'm happy to learn more.
