If you don't have any, you can use a close person as an example.
I'll start.
I've always been kinda socially awkward and never had that much friends. Spent most of my time playing games. Last year I met 5 dutch friends in that game and I've been voice-chatting with one girl from the group for a looong time, almost daily. We made a deal that they would travel to my country for a music festival in July. I shared the plan with my family and coworkers and they just nodded their heads, giggled and told me it would never happen. My family even told me that I need to get real friends instead of VCing "virtual" friends. My coworkers told me that they don't believe I'll travel alone to a different city and spend a whole week with foreign people knowing my anxiety.
Fast forward to July, I worked my ass off to afford everything I wanted for that trip, I got some good gains in the gym, and I had one of the best times of my life with those 5 people there, hanging out, partying and just enjoying life!
Btw, we all got COVID afterwards but no regrets!
Always believe in yourself ;)
My sister told me that I would never be able to sleep with any of her friends, yet, without any flirtyness, several of my sisters friends have sneaked into my room, back when we lived home. LOL it was hilarious the 2nd and 3rd time it happened.

LMAOOOOO god i wish that were me
Me getting into my uni.
was a very funny story, I got into a very prestigious university in my state. The scores needed to get into the uni were so high that my family didn't even wait for my scores. They tried to use their influence and money to get me into the uni. But then, They failed trying to cause the university was very strict and only top scorers/ Merit students were able to join.
Funny, I got my scores later and the university sent me a letter inviting me to join them. ( Ps: i didn't score a lot tbh, It was either luck/manifestation or maybe I did score a lot lol)
My parents still tell me how stupid it made them feel.

Nice story. You should never underestimate anyone and this is a good example. How did you perform in uni later on?

I am doing amazing, Due to corona they are having online exams and that sucks. They are barely giving us good scores.

XDDDD no she wasn't, I actually didn't hook up with her :( but I'm glad I met her online, otherwise that trip would have never happened.
Even if we did she wouldn't be my first though 😎
had a really nice timing reading here
hope you make more wholesome posts like this op <3
In high school I really didn't care at all, it was all too easy for me and I would rather just have fun. A teacher told me I wouldn't get into any college acting how I do and being friends with the friends I was with at the time, basically told me I would end up being a loser.
Last year I went back to my high school to visit her and showed her how absolutely wrong she was, now with two degrees and a PhD candidate and my closest high school friends both with M.S. degrees as well. Had a long conversation about how she shouldn't be judgemental like that. It was eye opening for her and it really made her emotional, we still email back and forth now. I think I really showed her that anyone is capable of being whatever they want.
Space echoes like an immense tomb, yet the stars still burn. Why does the sun take so long to die?
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I once the Beat the shit out of a 6'6 guy. I'm 6'0 and pretty jacked but the 6'6 guy thought he was a alpha cuz of his tall height.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Dropped out of college, got kicked out and was told I'd never amount to anything. Have since consistently found and held more respectable and high paying job than any living family members.
This one is a massive "fuck you" to me. But I could've bought 50,000 bitcoin at 50p each. But because I was so young and had no bank details, had to ask family to use their bank card. Every single one of them laughed at me and told me I was a fucking idiot, and that I was far too young to know what I was talking about. Either that or they said "its a scam" bla bla bla. Then last year they were asking me every few days why I dont get into all this 'new' crypto currency stuff... and I told them all fucking straight I tried to get in on it in like... 2008? 2009? And they all called me fucking stupid. Did the math, told them how much it would be worth now. And they never brought it up again. For the record I'm in but not as fucking loaded as I would be if they had just listened to me.

It's funny how the older judge us when we tend to have fun because some things are easy for us, it's like they want to see us struggle. Not everyone is the same.
