Does having a lot of money make you happy?

Do you have a lot of money (x2 (or more) than the average person or) and does it make you happy?
Money makes you happy, if it doesn´t make you happy you don´t have enough! :)
No, i don't have a lot of money and we're having a really bad economic crisis where i live, but still i can't say i'm not happy.
But yes money makes live easier i think.
Thank you dunesofsand

not really most my rich friends still have the same relationship/family problems that come with not having money
Money can make you happy yes, but I don't know anyone with money that is completely happy with their life. There's always something more.
Well, not completely true, but all of my problems right now could be solved by money. ALL.
it should be a balance between having decent money + family/friends

so yea i wouldnt take a ton of money just alone
The concept that money does not make you happy is from those with to much money.

For the average person, doubling our income would change our lives. The amount needed depends where you live, but I think around $200 spendable a day after bills. So like $6k extra a month is that sweet spot. Because now you can just enjoy your free time. Unexpected bills dont hurt.

In the short term money does make me happy, think of it as one less problem you have to deal with. I got a lot of other problems to deal with but having one less problem is always better.
Mula gives you more options. Out of the many options it can buy, one of those might end up bringing happiness. However,

Money can't buy happiness but poverty can't buy anything.

Get that mula babyyyy :D
I buy Amazon Gift Cards & Crypto for CashApp. PM me if you're selling

Money is everything, money can make you sad and happy, Get rich or die trying is the moto.
Yes, but there are exceptions.

I work with a lot of wealthy patients, as well as a lot of financially unstable ones, and they all have one thing in common - preexisting illness.
  • If a person is depressed beyond financial reasons, becoming wealthy won't cure their depression.
  • If a person is depressed beyond financial reasons, becomes poor, it won't cure their depression.
  • If a person that doesn't suffer from any mental ailments is financially unstable and then becomes wealthy, they will become increasingly happy.
  • If a person that doesn't suffer from any mental ailments is financially stable and then becomes poor, they won't become unhappy (most use it as drive).

Additionally, there are other quality of life reasons why becoming wealthy or becoming poor won't impact happiness, e.g support system (family, friends), companionship (animals), physical shape, etc.
For me, Money is just security. It can give you the freedoms you want, ability to travel, but at the end of the day, it's all about who we spend it with.

where I live , minimum wage is like 400$/MONTH , yes per month

so getting 200$ per day make u extremely damn rich here lmao

yes living is cheaper but it still isn't as cheap as the salaries people get paid around here

cheers.
