Title says it all, how's your experiences with Coinbase?
I personally am finding it very frustrating. + they collect tons of personal data.

Im seeking alternatives, what do you guys use and would you recommend it?

for me its the fact that they charge almost 10% in fees so you have to make a 10% gain in profit to even break even.

You could use Coinbase Pro to decrease fees by a lot, I can Top up my coinbase with SEPA/Ideal for 0.15 euro and exchange it to Coinbase Pro for free, fees on Pro are way less than normal coinbase

Slow verification process. (It took me few days) delays and profile lock downs for 24hrs,
Was longest and most frustrating verification ever
(Yes i provided the right documents) few times, untill they decided this time they are okey.

Im Registrated in Major Payment Systems, verified there with no problem at all.

Just recently i started using services that use coinbase but i found another way to pay and closed my coinbase account.

Interested in alternatives for the near future, Just in case i can't avoid Crypto.

It depends what alternative you are seeking, if you are a long-term holder and want a non-custodial wallet you can use exodus wallet. If you are a trader and don't want the IRS seeing every single transaction you make (coinbase is required to report all your transactions to IRS for taxes) then you can use kucoin where they don't require any personal data for trading crypto.

Always Coinbase Pro > Coinbase

My other recommendations are Poloniex and Gemini

Here’s a list i have of exchanges (desc. ranking): Binance, FTX, Circle, Local Bitcoins.

And more… Bitstamp, xCoins, eTorro, crypto.com, and i guess you could say robinhood too.

Where do they charge 10% fees? Never seen that.

My coinbase account got closed 1-2 weeks after I cashed out some money to my paypal.
Never bothered asking why, I simply moved to other exchanges.
I never did shady stuff and I doubt my crypto was ”dirty” or anything.
