Reselling, eWhoring and B4U services are all easy to get into with low overhead.

It's profitable more the black way than the white.

But Purchasing PC or laptop at discount/wholesale and peddling them for full price. For white you need big margins and numbers to make a significant profit, really to account for expenses, AFDA, etc

So what's the black way? Buying low-end PCs and selling them to old men at hyper-inflated prices?

Well, lets look at it from an accounting perspective. Lets say you sell a product, laptop for $2999


Sales = $2999

Then you paid $2617 for it.

Cost of goods sold = $2617

Then you allocate for allowance for Doubtful accounts, which is high because people insist on finding problems with things they purchase online. 40% of profits as a safe margin.
Are you FOBSP or FOB destination? calculate shipping charge if you're offering free shipping.
Factor in other expenses, if any, and there usually is.

Doesn't leave you with much per unit. Likely, around $50-$60



Now, let's say you could take your biggest expense, cost of good sold, out of the equation.
Your contribution margin, and thus, Net operating income could be much higher.

ecommerce is the way to go imo. It's a little difficult but once you get the hang of it you can make a lot of money and eventually possibly create a brand that's worth a lot of money.
