We all know Ethereum is going to move from PoW to PoS but do you think the network will be ready in 2022 ?
Do you think Ethereum will move to PoS this year? |

I think the existence of this thread should explain my vote:

You can figure it out yourself everything from the clients to the testnets are all open-sourced. I do not need to base my findings on a random HF thread.

I don't think it will and I don't think it matters. Ethereum still in an incredibly strong market position with many options for growth. I'd rather they do it right than screw it up. I got some ETH 2.0 locked in staking that I can't touch. That's okay too, it's like a CD account in a bank that's locked up but one day when it's accessible again, it's potentially gonna put a lot of money into my pocket.
Is PoLoW asking for a reason? You want to get into mining ETH or staking it? (Apr 21, 2022 08:42 AM)Omniscient Wrote: I don't think it will and I don't think it matters. I built a rig and planning to build another rig, PoS might kill PoW i am afraid.
I really hope it won't, almost reached 1 GH/s, but even if PoS goes out, it won't stop me from mining.
Last 'proper' call was June 2022, but apparently a developer announced that it will take more time. https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/0...d-in-june/ |
