Stop using your real email address

For a good level of privacy I recommend you use:
1. ProtonMail Provider
2. Simplelogin Alias Service

Using simplelogin to create alias emails that forward incoming mails to your real email address is an easy way to avoid sites tracking, linking or spamming you.

With the free plan you can have only 1 mailbox linked and:
Code
15 aliases
Unlimited Bandwidth
Unlimited Reply/Send from alias
Browser extensions
Chrome, Firefox and Safari
iOS, Android App
Secure your account with TOTP and/or WebAuthn (FIDO)

The mailbox you register with will be the one you create aliases for.
On register you get 1 week premium.
You can use catch-all and custom domains.
You can disable any alias to stop incoming emails there.
You can create a new alias and start receiving new emails to it.
Privacy is a human right, inherent to all of us, that we are entitled to.
Too bad proton mail reads your emails.

Maybe aliases are a good solution not to make your address public, but it's not a perfect protection. As for secure communication, only end-to-end encryption of your messages can provide you with this (same as using u2f keys, password manager and long unique complicated passwords but this is a strong pick from the topic of the thread😁). In this case, it does not matter which e-mail provider you use, because you can be sure that it will not reach your messages even though they are on its servers.
This place could be yours, click here for details. 📢

Source? They can intercept the email like any other provider but I am sure they do not do that unless they have a court order.

Yes, not perfect but good enough for average user. 😁

They don't let you register on tor.
They respond to law enforcement requests despite being 'end to end encrypted'
They force you to register in a way that links you to your identity.
They are misleading at best, dishonest at worst. I wouldn't put my personal privacy in their hands.

You can register on Tor ( https://protonmail.com/tor )
They are bound by law to do so and they release minimal information (they write this in their TOS) and they can't read your inbox emails.
How do they link your identity? You can register with Tor, you can pay with crypto and you can do just captcha verification to register.
There could be better email providers out there but ProtonMail is a really good service.

Just another trick from Proton to convince you.

I will see the video but from what I understand he is speculating on why he thinks it is a honeypot.

Hey! I think Tutanota lacks some thing:
No tor service
They do not use OpenPGP
They do not use AutoCrypt
You need to use their partner "Proxystore" to buy Tutanota gift cards with Monero/BTC or pay directly to Tutanota with PayPal/Credit Card/Bank Transfer.

Congratulation on getting Uber!

Watched the video. What email service do you recommend then? Cock.li?

Edit: Also, does anyone have a Cock.li invite code to share?

Riseup is probably better but needs an invite from a member.

For an email provider you can register in 2 minutes to switch from Gmail or Outlook services ProtonMail is perfect.

And I answered his arguments.

If going for invite-only service, go for Riseup like 7 said

Just set up an account with Proton. It literally took 2 minutes.

Thanks!
