If you're into the Dark Souls-like genre you'll enjoy it. Same goes for Sekiro.

Can't say I've really played much at all of any other souls games and souls likes. However, I was able to pickup Elden Ring relatively quickly, beat the game in about a week of playing in the evenings. It's definitely hard, but I wouldn't say as hard as others I've played. I will say, it just feels like its a lot more fun once you get to where you've beaten the first area, the world really opens up and it gives it a lot more enjoyability being able to play in a less linear style while still progressing the main game. Highly recommend going and knocking out some of the side quests as well, makes it a lot more fun and easy to progress through the main story as you go.
