Will AI replace real artists

I saw a thread on here of a guy offering AI art, do you think this will eventually lead to the replacement of human artists .
I hope not, I liked some of the AI stuff, but I can understand the hatred for them. Personally I enjoy all forms of art. But understand the necessity of a conversation piece

It's unlikely that AI will be able to fully replace human artists. Art requires creativity and originality, as well as an understanding of human emotions and the cultural context in which it is created and consumed. These are qualities that are unique to humans and cannot be replicated by AI. While AI can be trained to recognize patterns and generate outputs based on those patterns, it is not capable of true creativity or understanding in the same way that humans are.

And even speaking about prompt artist, it won't make sense.

PS: Really personal opinion, everyone can see it differently too. We don't have any cristal ball.
Maybe for stock photos and such yes. But real art will always have value.
AI really is taken over everything and sadly i feel as if it will take over art aswell as jobs and so on. It does everything a human can but better and it doesn't let its emotions get in the way because it has none. Truly the ultimate psychopathic killing machine.
I'm the guy offering AI art.

No, I don't think it will replace human artists. In my opinion, AI art can be somewhat a form of human art in some ways.
Emerging from the Shadows…
Not in our lifetimes, no. The subtleties of human emotion and art is so incredibly complex and hard to nail down. Even IF AI could accomplish that, there’s always going to be a desire for authentic, human created art, just like there’s a desire for physical art mediums when digital art is easier and cheaper.
Maybe when AI can start to use 3d printing or actual canvas

i think creativity and art are part of human nature not machines

Yes and No. AI can defenitly never replace real humans 100% but it‘s a good alternative
lets see a robot play a fucking banjo

or something

i guess anything can be seen as a form of art. so what you define as art possibly could be created by AI but i dont think it will ever be replaced.
I think humans are going to evolve more into machines. Adapting to live where oxygen, toxic climate isn't a problem

Slap that on a 600 episode cartoon anime-style and we have a billion dollar HackForums project.

Quote:As I sit here,

hoping to refute,

I question art in reality.

The greats, the giants,
the beautiful,
the beautifully abhorrent,

somewhere therein lies art.

A robot can't --

but can it?

Would we not know the difference,
in heart?

Beautiful mistakes,

intended,
and perfectionism,

of the gifted,
has created waves,
in creativity's wake,

from the very start.

A "bad" artist
like Basquiat,
here and there with no reason,
or "good" artists,
Beethoven, Van Gogh,

still remain through the seasons.

Can AI replace human art?
Can art be proven?

I denied AI's capability,
read a Hackuman poem,
my theory was ruined.

Honestly, I think there will always be room for simple, natural, analogous artforms.

So, no, I don't believe art will be "replaced" by AI, but maybe contributed to or competed with by AI.

Thus begs the question, is AI art?

If guitar-making or piano-making is an art form, and these creations make art in themselves, then AI is basically an instrument tunable to inherently making more art in itself..

----

Did I just apply human rights to an AI? No, I don't believe I did.

Did I apply artistic rights to the creators of the AI that creates? Unintentionally.

Implicitly, a guitar-maker may be quite terrible at plucking the strings.
A developer may be quite terrible at drawing trees.

Either's creation is capable of creating beauty beyond its creator.

Therein lies the debate:

If Jim makes X, and Bob uses X to make Y, who and what is the artist and what and who is the art?

It wont, people still want the real thing.
