Hey Everyone,

Podcast on social platforms have brought immense value to the community.

Could we have an option to start Podcast (Thread discussion only) between specific members and all HF members can view it only.

Site admin could set rule for such Podcast, like:


1. Bytes investment to purchase Podcast spot.
2. Podcast to be on top or as Sticky until it ends.
3. Only quality discussion - (Podcast tile to be shared with HF staff for approval).
4. And more...


I am pretty sure, there are lots of knowledge to be shared. Members could benefit from such.


It would be interesting to know what HF Members, HF staffs and Admin think of this.

Don't you think, in Podcast people are always open to answer questions that they would not normally post or share?


For example:

Podcast title could be : How to do Drop-shipping and choose right product.
The discussion could go on where expert (HF Members) would be able to share the private links / resources.

and,
In return both Podcast host and Guest would get recognition among members and would be able to genuinely showcase their skills.

In a regular podcast, people spew hundreds of words out of their mouths every minute. People can't just write 300 words per minute in a thread. It will take 12-24 hours to get the same content that a normal podcast could create.

I had to split your feedback in 2 points. So, please check this:

1. HF is built on Mybb and the community is about stuffs that people would normally not speak by showing their face on Live cameras. It is not about writing 300 words per minute but more about sharing facts and contents that can benefit other members.

Such contents would be far more valuable than anything here. As it will include premium resources. On Podcast, host and guest, both gain recognition among audience in exchange.

2. This is the exact point, HF Staffs and Admin could set rules for Podcast. Even Podcast would be approved by staffs before they go live. 12/24 hrs to finish Podcast spot would allow both 'Guest / Host' to reply as per their convenience and share as much knowledge as possible.


This is 'Thread-Podcast' not 'Audio' and certainly not 'Video'. -> This will respect members anonymity and would certainly gain popularity over time. HF will be the first mover in this space, if it gets accepted.

At least a Beta testing of such feature could definitely happen to see how other members react.
