I've never really been a fan of Anime - not that I have anything against it. As a new years resolution, I've decided to pick up where I left off on learning Japanese. A number of people I've spoken to have said that watching anime helped them to improve their listing skills.

Are there any easy to understand anime that you could recommend?

Also thank you for taking the time to go a little into detail about what I should be watching and why. I never considered that certain anime may have more niche words in, such as anything military related. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for that.

I'll for sure check out your recommendations! I've never heard of Animelon before, so I'll also check that out.

I'mma keep it real I don't think Anime is the way to go to learn Japanese. A lot of slang and non formal/respectful words are used often in Anime. Especially since you aren't even into it. I would stick to traditional learning and then watch some YouTube/News/Radio.

Yes, search for any anime that has short episodes (such as 12 episodes)
