I must say, it tastes pretty harsh, but also quite sweet? Gabriella (fiance) says it "tastes old". It's a nice bottle from 1970 worth around $250 or so, but condition is less than perfect. We'll keep drinking it in slow sips for now. Was not originally planning on opening this, but can't waste it now.

Honestly, not loving it and will probably not finish.

Sounds like a bottle with a whole lot of added character and that just makes having gotten to drink it all the better 😁

Oh yeah, exactly - builds the memories for later days when we'll think back to these times. That bottle of port was roaming around for a while!

True, this is one of those weird cases where in hindsight I'd ship it for the shipping cost + some bytes & come out ahead.
BUT, even with its flavor and... texture... it's still nice to have a memory of the time we drank this.
