you can't mine BTC on a PC. you could mine monero or some other altcoin.

U cant mine btc with with normal pc anymore. It was profitable like 10yrs ago. Go with some specialized device called asic

go to whattomine , if you know what gpu's your pc's have you will know what to mine with them to be most profitable

UnamSanctam has made a pretty good tool for silent mining (https://github.com/UnamSanctam/SilentCryptoMiner), although it's main purpose is for spreading to other computers, so you can mine crypto on their computers unbeknownst to them, however you could also build one for your own using. You have different options like: How much power the computer uses to mine crypto while you are using the computer. How much power the computer uses to mine crypto while you are away from the computer (idle). And more.

One asks for a "SILENT" miner, because of blackhat ideas. Normal folks ask for what's the best Bitcoin Miner, not silent one. Anyway, mining is not profitable anyway, unless you have below $0.05/kWh or free electricity.

The only way to make mining worth it is to start an LLC and take out a small business loan, and treat it like a business. You will need 30k to make any meaningful profit and even the cutting edge miners of today will be less and less profitable as time goes on.

However, if you can stomach a loan, and you have the IQ and ambition to make it all work, you would 100% have to put all of your profit towards paying that loan off.

Then, as miners do, you hodl the coins you’ve mined until the price balloons, this effectively raises your overal profitability because the USD you earned is held up by the appreciation of BTC itself, and you aren’t having to rely on your hashpower keeping up just to make it worth it.

Not to be a downer but unless you can buy electricity at 0.08 cents per KWH and have substantial amount of starting capital and time to manage the business you cannot compete and it wouldn’t be worth your time and money. You can spend your time like I did trying to figure it all out but that’s the cold truth as far as I’m concerned.
