Runes is tokenization on Bitcoin. This is potentially going to be a new era for Bitcoin. Shocked it hasn't been discussed until now on HF. I wasn't aware of it. No real news or hype that I saw.

That’s true; We all know that ETH has had its issues with high swap fees when demand goes up.
L2’s are an option, but that’s only if there’s enough liquidity. I’m not really sure what L2’s there are for btc, I heard about stacks, never got around to actually using BRC-20 at all though.

I'm stepping back on this one and watching it play out. Too many in the field right now.
Way back with Cryptokitties, I was much more game for jumping in and grabbing some, and made a nice profit... but runes are totally different with so many players all at once. I'll let some wash out first.

BTC aint the only one with high fees this is an ETH issue as well but for some reason people seem to accept it with ETH while they complain when it happens at BTC, just stupid if you ask me.
Just proofs demand is all and i'm sure sooner or later this gets solved in some way. We are early birds here still.
