I've seen many handheld devices that have emulators for many devices, but which is the best one in your opinion? Smoothest and most game options?

Haven't ever used one. I've played many emulators before, but all on PC. I'm honestly not even really familiar with handheld emulators. I know some are a thing, but I guess they never appealed to me or seemed that official, high quality, etc.
