Anybody have a reliable emulator they know of nowadays? I want to try to get one going for when GTA comes out...i dont know much about emulators so i asked perplexity and this is what is told me.

I did not find a real, credible Xbox Series X/S emulator for PC in the results. What exists online is mostly confusion with older Xbox emulation, cloud gaming, or fake “series X” emulator pages rather than a legitimate, usable emulator for the current consoles.
What’s realistic

If your goal is to play those games on PC, the realistic options are:

Native PC releases.

Official cloud streaming where available.

Emulating older systems, not PS5 or Xbox Series X/S.

For PS5 specifically, the state of emulation is still very early compared with older console emulators.

Your best bet is to buy a PS5 Pro or Series X if you can't wait.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust any PS5 emulator that's being advertised right now. Most are proof-of-concepts at best, and some are outright scams or malware. If you're looking to emulate, stick with established projects like RPCS3 or PCSX2. For GTA 6 though, I think waiting for an official PC release is the smarter move.

PS4 Emulation is just recently come in to play and it's still very rough around the edges. Current gen emulation is pretty much no viable at the moment. Buy a cheap used console perhaps or wait for the PS Portable.
