Was thinking about doing a contest, but I want to here from you guys first.

Do you like multiple entry contests or single entry contests more?

A single entry contest is more fair to people who can’t sit on a contest thread every hour to post or find new people to tag.

I agree.

Having to find someone who hasn't been tagged yet AND doing multiple entries are the reasons why I barely enter contests.

I think single entry is easier and makes tagging new people a bit easier.

I don't think there is a singular preference for me. I enjoy multiple entries, or ways to get multiple entries. I think that it really depends on what you want. Hella replies? Lots of views? Lots of entries? Or keep it simple?

I also enjoy single entries, I think it gives everybody a chance, and that is cool, but someone who isn't a regular HF scroller has a higher chance of getting an award. A 2 day old account can win money, then never be seen again, which is completely in their right to do what they want -- but personally I feel better knowing a person who I see active somewhat regularly or frequently get the prize.

I assume by your posts single entry is your preference!

Honestly, I prefer the sinlge entry. The multi-s get carried away. That's just me though.

Multi post with 24 hour re entry thing. Thats kinda a fair contest imo

Even on multi post contests I typically post once or twice. So I’m more in favour of single posts.

Multi posts helps keep the thread active and noticed though.

The pros to multiple entries are obviously you can earn more bytes, but the cons it becomes a spam fest

Single entry for a short period of time.

Multiple entry, one every 24 hours for much longer time for a giveaway contest.

Single entry though if someone is set on multiple entries than I think once every 24 hours is fine too and about as fair for multiple entries contests as you'll be able to get for everyone.
