My struggle is pretty much. procrastination. taking that I can get stuff done in an unrealistic time frame. So let's start off with me. What are some methods you would like to share with me that I could help fix that? Such as like time management?

it seems I also struggle with typing and double checking for typos.
The only way to keep myself motivated is to think about the future and what I can achieve if I work now.
I do tend to be lazy and out of say 5 hours I dedicate to work, I end up watching videos and reading something for about 3-4 hours and the rest is work.

So I'd say I'm not that productive at all, I feel if I had a boss, I'd probably get a lot of shit and would probably get fired.

See, that's where it becomes paradoxical for me. As soon as I started thinking about the future, I just realize if I don't get the task done. it all goes to hell. But that just gives me anxiety. And then I go into circles. It's a vicious cycle for me, for sure. I'm pretty much the same where I would probably.

2-3h, of work, that's a full work day and watch some videos. This poor contributor on my Github repo has been. waiting for me to merge his pull request for about three weeks, and I just finally did it.
Simple , the money is the motivation ha

Well i ask the magic question "Why" and my brain gives me the motivation to work
One of my biggest issues is by far procrastination. I just have a bunch of stuff to do, but I never get around to actually doing it. What I do is I make a mental list of everything I need to do in order of priority, and set aside an hour (or however much time I will need) to do it. During that block of time, I just focus on the stuff I have to get done, and absolutely nothing else.
Nicotine and caffeine, and the love of seeing things get done the right way

My productivity is close to no existent. Pretty sure my dopamine circuits are fried.

Great topic! Staying productive can definitely be a challenge. Here's what works for me:

1. Set Clear Goals: I start my day by listing out clear, achievable goals. This helps me stay focused and gives me a sense of direction.

2. Break Tasks into Smaller Steps: Large projects can be overwhelming. Breaking them down into smaller, manageable tasks makes them less daunting and easier to tackle.

3. Use the Pomodoro Technique: This technique involves working for 25 minutes, then taking a 5-minute break. After four cycles, I take a longer break. It helps keep my focus sharp and prevents burnout.

4. Eliminate Distractions: I try to create a distraction-free workspace. This means putting my phone on silent, closing unnecessary browser tabs, and sometimes even using apps that block distracting websites.

5. Stay Hydrated and Take Care of Your Health: It's easy to forget, but drinking water and taking short breaks to stretch or move around can significantly improve productivity.

6. Reflect and Adjust: At the end of the day, I reflect on what I accomplished and what I could improve. This helps me adjust my strategies and stay on track.

Honestly, I need to start disciplining myself more and maybe get back into day trading. As I got myself set up with that stuff. which if anyone in here is into trading definitely let me know. Because I would like to connect with more people who have that same interest.

But yes, absolutely money on your mind does keep things motivated. It's just that you got to have the discipline to stick to that motivation, for sure. And lack impulsivity. which I don't lack any impulsivity, so I gotta take care of that.

In other words, I lack discipline.

But the beauty of your quote, I just had to point out simple, but it's 100 percent true. this quote right here. I love it. Official seal of approval from Rm -RF ./me 💯

But if you have something you wanna do and finish it fast do you have motivation then?
I think of when I'll be old and regret sitting on my ass all day
I think of the time i had the most of my money, dedicated and hardworking.

Stick to ya budget lads
