Bob Woodward alleges in his new book "War" that Trump sent COVID tests, along with machinery to Putin in secrecy, with Putin requesting such as “I don’t want you to tell anybody because people will get mad at you, not me.”
In addition, the book alleges Trump has had at least 7 phone calls with Putin since 2021/leaving office.
I am interested in what MAGA people think of this, left-leaning folks too, chime in! I'm gonna hold some cards up my sleeve and see if any of you get a bit reactionary as you often do 😭

Massive respect for Bob Woodward and he got Trump to be more honest with him than anyone. Actually Bob Woodward revealed the fact that Trump was way more intelligent in 2020 than he pretended to be to the public, but that made Trump look bad to me because Trump showed that he actually understood all about Covid, but on the TV he was acting the fool, and pretending not to understand things he actually did. I guess someone pointed out that it's the "I love the poorly educated" thing because he thought he could appeal to more people by playing dumb, but it just wasn't the time to do that.
As far as the Russian thing Bob Woodward wouldn't say stuff he didn't have proof of.

I believe it was a very small amount particularly for Putin. Regardless of whatever Putin said to the public he was absolutely terrified of getting the virus himself. I haven't read the book though, that's pure conjecture. This was not when covid tests were readily available and being mailed to people by the UPS for free. This was when getting a COVID test was near impossible for a normal citizen, if not pretty much impossible, Trump was still president, we're talking mid/half end 2020.

I really don't see a problem with the covid tests. It shows, that despite politics, in matters of life and death all governments can cooperate for the life and safety of the planet as a whole. As for Trump staying in contact, well that's a matter of politics and business. Never forget, a politician is a businessman first and foremost.

Well Russia isn't really viewed as an ally of the US by... really anyone, you know, if you know history. So it is a bit weird Trump would be giving any amount of aid to them unless we had a surplus, which we did not, we had a shotrage.
As long as you maintain that position with the Biden family and Ukraine I guess you're fair to say that in terms of "politics and business". Seems pretty stupid in my opinion though.

Most things in politics are always stupid. But you have to be pretty low down and dirty not to share the little you have during a global pandemic. Keep in mind foreigners who were not vaccinated can always come to your country too and continue infecting the population. So I really don't see a downside or playing favorites here either. Politics aside, its just good business to quell as much of a pandemic as possible.

The tests were not for Russia. They were for /Putin/. Russia is not an ally of the US, as a result neither is Putin. IDK where I'm losing ya here.
They were not given to him so Russia could develop a vaccine, testing kits, or do research, they were given to Putin because Putin was terrified of the virus despite any public claims he made otherwise.
Should Trump have flown to North Korea and given Kim Jong himself, the individual, for his own individual use, supplies too?

On a real note I have watched many debates with Trump supporters and they all fail to answer basic questions, they all fail to name actual policy. Also discussions I have had on these forums prove the same thing about his supporters.
Voting for Trump is voting for massive inflation due to his tariff proposals, it is voting for a dictatorship, it is voting for rights of women being stripped away, it is voting for a climate disaster. I don't even need to say more you know these things, hell Trump supporters know these things they just choose to vote for candidate that will have a disastrous outcome for this country and the world.

I love how Trump kinda stumbles and doesn't mention he made an electric car company because his base probably isn't super huge on that 🤣. The saddest thing is I really don't think Elon cares that much, I think he wants people to like him, he's already got money, success, could probably land any number of beautiful women but I think he just wants people to see him and be like wow that's a cool guy and he just Streishands himself.
Leaning into the right is an easy way to get a decent chunk of people to "like" you though. Until he gets casted aside or does one thing that even slightly negs or upsets Trump, at which point he'll be public enemy #1 lmfao.
I'm just patiently waiting the election at this point, sadly I'm honestly not as certain as I was a few months ago that Kamala will win, people are really just bought into Trump it seems. I don't know why, or how, when there's just so much evidence of him being an awful person, an awful leader, awful at getting anything done, outright breaking the law, but, alas that's where we're at.
At the moment I say Kamala easily wins the popular vote but Trump has a pretty good chance of winning the real deal.
I also just can't get over how beautiful it is that Elon claims he bought Twitter because it was some leftist biased platform and now he took the company private and is literally giving SPEECHES at the GOP's selected candidate's rallies... christ almighty lol
