On top of being UK based needs to be in proximity of his business service zone. Google became extremely picky with reviews, it will stick for a few weeks then eventually get pulled by the algorithm if it’s not posted correctly.

It's a company with an online presence serving to the wider UK, but the physical area of the business profile on Google Maps is of course limited to a specific location. I'm not sure what the proximity threshold for that area is before reviews outside of the threshold are stripped. I'm learning a lot of this as I go so thanks for the feedback.

If you’re registered as an online business / online services type business then the reviews in the generic UK should be fine.

I’ve had bad experience and learned the hard way.

Reviews with photos , mentioning employee names etc are also more likely to stay / stand out.
