I enjoy carving more, as you can get really creative. I try to incorporate the lighting from the candle inside to create a shadow that will also look cool.

I'd much rather carve a pumpkin, mostly because it's just a more creative and fun way of decorating a pumpkin, rather than just painting it. It's always fun to put a light inside it and see all of your hard work!

Yeah, I completely agree with that. Carving a pumpkin is much more hands-on than just painting it, and you really get to be creative with it. I've seen a lot of pretty cool Halloween pumpkins over the years!
