BEWARE OF IMPOSTERS... SAD SCAM ATTEMPT!

Someone just messaged me and asked if I spoke to them earlier on Telegram, and sent me a screenshot of a conversation they had with someone claiming to be me, wanting to do some type of deal or exchange. I've always made it clear in my profile that unless you're trying to deal on-site, then you're not trying to make a deal. I don't deal off-site.

Actually, if you check my post history.. you will see that I constantly warn users both old and new to not do deals with users off-site. It's the number one move that scammers make.. get the user off-site, and then once they get them off-site, scam them for their money. Furthermore, I won't do any deals without a contract... so those are two safeties that are always in place, if you want to ensure you're dealing with me. Deal will be done on site, and it will be done thru a contract. If those two things aren't met, then it's not me.

Do I have Telegram? Yes. But my username isn't "Moooookie" so if you're interacting with someone using that username on Telegram, or any other platform for that matter its not me. I really only use this handle on this site, and one other site. It's not a handle that I go by all around the internet.. so please don't be fooled by anyone trying to lure you into believing you're talking to me.

Thanks Net for making aware of the broke boy antics that are taking place. STAY SAFE PEOPLE.
Old classic scam. Unfortunately people fall for it.

That's why I say it's best to verify with the actual person on the site before talking or dealing with off site

Most definitely. It's a good thing he was smart enough to not do the deal without the contract. The contract is what prevented him from being able to pull it off.
Ever since I made a thread on currency exchange, I've been contacted by 3 imposters on Telegram. Some of them most likely have success, otherwise they wouldn't be doing that. But trying to scam for scrap money is a really broke boy mentality.

Stay safe fellas, don't deal on Telegram unless you're 100% the user is legit.

Never deal without the high-quality contract!

Eh, most of them say ''send contract'' and then immediately post their addy. Wonder how many people actually send money before the contract is ''accepted''.

I'm pretty sure they're successful once in a blue moon, because as you said they wouldn't continue to keep trying their hand.

Yes sir, scammers never sleep. When you get rid of one, there's always another one lurking in the shadows, plotting on their next target. Staying on-site ensures that you're not dealing with an impersonator, and contract reduces the probability that you will get scammed. Only thing to 100% ensure you don't get scammed, is using a trusted Middle Man.
