I use this daily... but is it good for tracking down scammers and bad actors like them? I read that it has no log... is it true? Thanks a lot in advanced

Proton has no logs that is correct. I love the proton eco system, I do recommend mullvad for a VPN tho. Love Mullvad and their team

I don't use ProtonVPN, but I do highly recommend MullVad VPN. They've been raided numerous times and authorities walked away empty-handed each time. They truly don't keep logs and you also pay with crypto/pre-paid and don't have a username/password. You receive a login pin when you create an account.

1. You don't create an "account", you just have random numbers which you use.
2. Their servers are VERY fast, and as a company they are amazing. They rent their VPN servers for companies like N-o-r-d.

Mullvad has proper anonymity. I personally do not trust Proton as a company; they don't have the best reputation.
