According to news, atleast one person dead. Two girls have lost their legs and multiple injured.

There are also video's on X (Twitter) showing severed limbs.
EDIT: 2 people dead.
Isn’t it the 4th or 5th time that something like that happens in Germany since beginning of 2025 ?
Crazy that people are still voting for left with recurrent events like that

Because the only party that wants to "close" the borders is the AfD. And for the average worker, they are not good.
If you look closely, it seems that AFD is the only salvation for Germany. How is it going? Idk Merz will do something about it, but the right forces have already dominated Italy (Maloni) and Austria (Kurz) in the last 7-8 years, and they are moving forward hugely. Here, I would put the right-oriented Orban from Hungary, who has a similar attitude as the correct handler of politics. In the long run, if Merz doesn't do anything drastically, even now, Germany is a scary place to live; with statistics that 80% of young Germans want to leave it, it will not be suitable for Germany.
Im afraid neo fascist politics will get back huge on the stage in Germany and around.
This should all be anticipated because of Russia's behaviour.
Then good help us.

Quote:The driver is a 40-year-old German citizen from the nearby state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg State Interior Minister Thomas Strobl told dpa. Stobl also confirmed the second death in a statement to AFP.
Well, hard to know anything based on that description. Could be Klaus German or Ali Arab or Nigel Nigerian.

I guess you posted that before you found out that it was a born and bred german redneck.
This article says it is a 40-year-old German from Ludwigshafen with previous convictions related to drunk driving and hate speech.
A 2-year-old girl and her mother have died two days after they were injured in the car-ramming attack on a labor union demonstration in Munich.
I guess people here will say that he was mad about his drunk driving and hate speech convictions. The media are claiming he is right wing and mentally ill, and that he posted "right wing hate speech" under a Facebook photo and got a conviction for it.
I wonder what it was? Since it seemed he posted it under someone's photo and got a hate speech conviction I guess it must have been a slur and some racist stuff? But he's also a wino.

This incident had nothing to do with any of that clearly.

I could have answered that question about hate speech 10 years ago. These days, you get a hate speech conviction for nearly nothing at all. Calling the finance minister a dumbhead? Your house gets raided by the police.
The country is falling apart quite rapidly and its really worrying. We'll see how far.

You're living in Germany? You don't have to answer that of course but sounded like you are. I don't believe calling someone a "Dumbhead" is labeled as "hate speech"?
Found the guys facebook profile and he honestly looks like a psycho... Rest in piece to the innocent people that died today.. again.. in germany. :/

Not sure if hate speech but someone definetly got raided for that word

I found it. It was actually the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Robert Habeck has filed complaints of over 730 cases of criminal hate speech against himself, a lot of them from Islamists.
The 65 year old man possibly an Islamist captioned the photo of the Minister with a phrase that could be translated as "professional idiot" — with the German "Schwachkopf" literally translating as "weak-head." The man also appeared to be trying to allude to an advertising campaign by the similarly-named hair care company Schwarzkopf Professional so it was a play on words.
BUT the man who posted it was also posted Nazi-era imagery and language. According to prosecutors, this post may have violated German laws against the incitement of ethnic or religious hatred.
Robert Habeck said "The extent of the Islamist demonstrations in Berlin and other cities in Germany is unacceptable and requires a tough political response."
One thing I noticed for a while I was getting pro Palestine ads on YouTube when I wasn't on Brave and I don't want to get that sh** my dad is of Jewish ethnic origin, so someone was blasting all that propaganda and a lot of stupid people with no connection to any of that decided to protest because Youtube ads told them to. Like both sides have done terrible things blaming it all on Israel just because they're a more developed nation is b.s. I think.
