Sands was picked up on CCTV in an elevator carrying the knife she used to stab Pleasted who had molested her three sons after she saw him as a role model and a grandad figure for them.

Michael Pleasted, previously known as Robin Moult, was a monster who had 24 previous convictions.

Main problem was that she decided to get really drunk before going to his apartment and then does stupid shit like take her knife out to look at in an elevator so that she was caught on camera and she CLAIMS she wasn't going to kill him just scare him and make him confess and promise to stay away. Don't know if that's believable. But I hate to say it since she was a single mother.....she left her boys with neither parent to go spend years in prison for killing someone who was 77.

Apparently she cooked the old guy meals and spent time with him because she saw him as a role model for her boys. Ugg this is why when my husband died I looked at those big brother things and I was just like....no. I didn't really trust anyone but there were a lot of good role model men at the schools, and thankfully none of them ever turned out to be bad.

Catch 22 though is you're then not there for your kids because you're in prison. and how many times did her kids think, "Mom wouldn't be in prison if I hadn't told?"
