How Will the New U.S. Tariffs Affect the Market and Economy Long-Term?

Hey everyone,

With the recent news about the U.S. imposing (or planning to impose) new tariffs particularly on goods from China and other key trading partners I’m wondering what kind of long-term effects this might have on the American economy and markets.

Are we looking at rising consumer prices? Supply chain shifts? Potential retaliation from other countries?
How do you think investors and businesses will respond, especially in sectors like tech, manufacturing, and retail?

Curious to hear your insights are we heading into another trade war scenario, or is this just posturing with limited impact?

I am far from an expert but my thoughts are no matter how you look at it sort and long term is not going to be easy.

I lost almost everything i had because of this insanity if there's a purpose i can't see it it seems to be nothing more than a pissing contest.
Just imposed another 104% on china....its a trade war no doubt.
A LOT of shit in America is Made In China. This isn't going to end well.

Yep like 95% of Walmart is MIC. it’s unfortunate but we have been building their economy for much to long. Every Amazon order is literally contributing to our demise. It has to stop. I’m not an economist so idk if a trade war is the way to do it but something has to change.

I'm in shipping and the amount of Amazon orders being dropped is insane. Moves are definitely being made.
