I was just thinking how lucky we are to have doctors. Imagine if you broke your leg in 10,000 bc .You would have to sit there in agony for weeks while starving until it got infected and you eventually died.
Modern medicine |

Boneset is an herb used by native Americans to help mending and heal broken bones.
Opium poppy, though highly addictive if used improperly is one of the most powerful natural pain killers known to man. Wild lettuce is also a good pain killer similar to opium but not as dangerous. White willow bark is nature's aspirin. Herbal remedies >>> modern pharmaceutical medicine. As long as you know your plants and herbs, you can heal naturally. Pharmaceutical medicines have far too many side effects, alor of which are designed to keep your coming back for more.

Wounds and cuts today that are nothing were often fatal even just a hundred years ago.
Diseases and viruses that were devastating or fatal even less than 100 years ago are now preventable with modern medicine and vaccines. Modern medicine is improving all of the time and it has saved millions of lives. Of course we have dumb ass conspiracy theorists who cannot comprehend basic facts who are against modern medicine and vaccines, but no point in arguing with them anymore because a cockroach is smarter than a lot of these conspiracy theorists. Natural herbs have their place but they are not some end all be all cure, not even close compared to modern medicine. Just some examples out of many. Rabies - Treatable and preventable with modern medicine/vaccines 99% fatal without. Smallpox - Treatable and preventable with modern medicine/vaccines often fatal without. Tetanus - Treatable and preventable with modern medicine/vaccine often fatal without. Stroke - Treatable and preventable with modern medicine often fatal without. Heart Attack - Treatable and preventable with modern medicine often fatal without. Cancer - Treatable with modern medicine and preventable with some vaccines, lifestyle changes, etc often fatal without. Compound fractures - Treatable with modern medicine, no herbal remedy is fixing it. There is so much more that modern medicine offers prevention, cure and solutions for that no herbal remedy will fix. Well we can't all trust the government like you do. I hope the best for you when the nano bots take you over from all the devils jabs you got. Jk But I am greatful for doctors though. But not the vegan/tranny making doctors though. Or the ones that heavily prescribe. Or the one that made me rub his feet because it would cure my tachycardia. It is not about trusting the government, it is about trusting basic facts that simply cannot be disputed by the nonsense these conspiracy theorists spew. Though not enough research has been done, there are some herbs that may be used to fight cancer cells such as moringa and soursop and of course, cannabis. I've also read that a cayenne pepper extract may help against heart attacks. Though you are correct for alot of the serious illnesses and diseases, modern medicine may be the way. Also, modern medicines have a natural origin: every chemical at one point was derived from a plant, fungus, mineral or even an animal. Alkaloids and compounds are extracted and combined with other compounds to create or synthesize something new. The issue with alot of pharmaceuticals is how many negative side effects they may contain, it almost seems deliberate to create such medicines that intentionally cause side effects so you'd have to get prescribed another type of medicine to combat those side effects and the cycle just goes on. I always like to do my research before I try anything. But I believe for the most part, most non life threatening conditions may be treated naturally.

It would be interesting to see a comparison of bone density to a neanderthal and a modern human who has little exercise and an athlete. But the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans had decent knowledge of medicine actually. Hippocrates in specific developed splinting techniques such as the "distraction splint" for repairing fractures. The amazon rain forest also has untold numbers of natural remedies. But big pharma doesn't want you to know that and suppresses scientific studies, grants, etc as much as they can. Unfortunately big pharma nowadays is all about keeping you just on the edge of getting healthy. They have had my mom wrapped around their finger for over 20 years now. She went from actively riding her bicycle for 20 miles a day to being told she has to be sick the rest of her life with an "incurable" disease that just happened to pop up. 🙄 Now shes paranoid into thinking these things are keeping her alive, she got rapid onset of dementia and diabetes among other things, the side effects are real. Vaccines at early ages are planned out to keep you sick for life. The modern healthcare industry as a whole is one of the greatest scams in human history. I am all for cannabis whether recreational or medical use but there is just no evidence to suggest it fights cancer cells that I have seen, it is however great at managing cancer symptoms on patients and it needs to be 100% legalized in every state. I am also all for herbal remedies when it is proven to be useful, for example I personally use Aloe instead of burn cream on minor burns, as a Prepper herbal remedies are essential but modern medicine has come a very long way and there is just no denying there is some things as I listed that herbal remedies will not fix, I actually have a book for my specific area that goes over the types of natural wild edibles, herbal medicine what they area, what they can be used for, how to use them, etc. You should always do your research and my opinion talk to multiple doctors, for example when I took the Pfizer Covid vaccine I didn't just take it because the government told me to, I dug into it, I talked with multiple doctors, I listened to multiple immunologists and biologists and I looked at the data. It's a collective team effort to making our lives better over the years. It's the medical industry, the bio-medical industry and the chemical industries. You have to thank the doctors ... the nurses... the chemists... the bio-engineers for most of these advancements and getting it into and to the patients that need it. However, the costs are outrageous though. The future tech they can grow your bone back in place in a single day. There's new tech that they're working on right now to grow bones including your teeth and you can thank the Japanese researchers. There's more to come and we can thank our computer scientists for making the quantum computers to help with R & D on medications and medical devices and other medical breakthroughs. ![]()
I agree with Prepper—herbalism, native and natural medicine are and have been important. But modern medicine has made incredible advances in dealing with much more complex issues, including problems that have existed for a long time but weren’t properly diagnosed before. They’re not new, they’ve just been there all along, and only now are we truly able to understand them.
Seriously, right? We take modern medicine for granted so much. Back in the day, a broken bone was basically a slow death sentence unless your tribe had some miracle healer. No anesthesia, no antibiotics, no clean water—just pain, dirt, and maybe some herbal tea that “might help.”
It’s wild how far we’ve come in just a few centuries, let alone from 10,000 BC. Makes you wonder how many brilliant minds we lost to something as simple as a cut getting infected. Kind of humbling when you think about it. |
