Quote: Hi everyone,

Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to release on May 26, 2026.

We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game.

With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.

We look forward to sharing more information with you soon.

Sincerely,
Rockstar Games

People complaining about waiting for so long but I would rather wait and ensure the game is a fucking masterpiece. GTA has always been a good game, this new one will be definitely worth the wait.

What’s worse is the PC version will be even more of a wait…sigh…FML. As a gamer that plays around 4 hours on weekdays and 8 on weekends this sucks…

Sadly I think we all saw this coming from the start, every time the hype is made so high they delay it to make more hype and to gain more traction the the series and game. It was already bad enough for the Pcc gamers as we have to wait even longer already.
