Anime & Manga Lovers — Let’s Talk Favorites!

---

Hey HF,

Any fellow anime or manga fans out there?

I’ve been diving back into some classics and exploring newer series lately, and it made me wonder — what are your absolute favorites? Whether it’s a deep story, unforgettable characters, killer animation, or just pure nostalgia, we all have those series that stick with us.

Some questions to get the convo started:

• What’s your all-time favorite anime or manga?

• Sub or dub — and why?

• Which anime has the best opening/OST in your opinion?

• Any underrated gems you'd recommend?

• Do you collect manga volumes, figures, or merch?

Also, if you’re into older stuff like Cowboy Bebop or more recent hits like Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man, feel free to share your thoughts — no gatekeeping here 😄

---

Let’s make this a chill thread to talk about what we love. Post your favorites, hidden gems, and hot takes!

Bonus points if you drop a screenshot, GIF, or waifu/husbando list 😏

Dude thanks so much for making this post.

My all time favorite? Don't have one. I'm a fan of many series.

Grew up with both dub and subs. Prefer subs.

A lot of anime have amazing OSTs. My favorites would definitely be from Attack on Titan, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Soul Eater, Fire Force, Saint Seiya, JoJo's, Deadman Wonderland, Naruto and Bleach. Hard to pick.

Underrated gems? Honestly I used to be heavy into anime, but I've since switched over to reading material like manga and web toons. Anime wise- it'd definitely be Casshern Sins, LotM, Mahou Sensei Negima.

Solo Leveling is a MUST watch.

Solo Leveling is a MUST watch.

Have you read the web comic? I think it's better. ORV is even better than Solo Leveling. Much better. It's also getting an anime adaptation which hopefully is done justice.
