Wat..

Bruh Sui went ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 55 cents. That’s crazy.

Wonder if this has to do with China trade war
Lol I say the market will bounce back but damn.
Do you want to be shot

I didn't have a ton available, and windows update on my trading PC slowed me down, but was able to drop $27k on SUI at $1.95.

Real happy with that buy right now, already back up to $2.32.

Flash crash ate up all the liquidity, made the price drop way more violent than it really is. As new liquidity gets injected price will go back up pretty rapidly.
Seriously considering allocating a huge chunk of my portfolio into SUI right now.

Unbelievable re-entry point.

Done, didn't buy tons, just enough. Enough to be comfortable with the uncertainty.
Been awhile since SUI is trading under $3, so far any hardware wallet that supports SUI?

Ledger and Keystone

SuiBall comes out soon and will be the nicest hardware experience for Sui (https://suiball.com)

It seems expensive imho, $150. Not sure why these hardware wallets are so costly.
I'd love to see your opinion on what coins are worth putting $10-25k into right now. I'd love to diversify part of my portfolio right now.

Chump change

The market has taken so many 30-50% crashes in the last few years, this is nothing.
Once you hold and buy more at 50% down... or worse. Then the market will know patience, resolve, and faith in long-term predictions.

I see a few meme coins that crashed hard, but that's not what I am talking about. A 50% crash or worse in BTC, ETH, and primary L2s for real business functions... That's a bloody day.

Bitcoin still at $112K, things are fine.

I have some buys set for the $70-90k range and am happy to see 112. I'd like to see 100-110 too. If people are upset now, then that's concerning. The fact we're still seeing BTC this high is bullish. I don't think this market shift is bad. It's healthy overall for what we need right now.
At this point it feels normal. Experienced this a couple times personally since 2017.
Finally a good opportunity to buy the bags of paper hands crypto bros.

Some sell, some salivate

CMC has us at a rating of 35, in Fear.
In other words, it's time to make some purchases soon.

I'm making some strategic buys, holding off on others to see where things land.

If anyone is feeling down today.. Just fix it for next time.
You should always have cash for these moments. If you don't, you might've overbought recently.

I generally agree, but I will point out 3 ways where the SuiBall outshines Ledger Nano (a more reasonably priced alternative).

- It's made by Citadel, an org who have a reputation for uber-high quality hardware. It will feel like an Apple device. Sleek and smooth.
- No hardware wallets that support Sui currently support clear signing, they all require blind signing which introduces a degree of risk. SuiBall supports clear signing. Most hardware wallets treat Move as an afterthought, with SuiBall it has native support for all Move operators, transactions, and contracts.
- It has Sui apps built in, you will be able to perform actions on popular DeFi apps directly from the wallet.

These sound like good options. I want to investigate the apps

I like convenience as long as there is a reputable supply chain, software hash verification or other authenticity checks (consumer / client side), and transparency with any future security concerns.

I really like Sui, I'm a bull on that long-term without much hesitation at all. There is too much talent involved to ignore

I am excited to try more with Move as well. I've done a good amount with Solidity, FunC, Tolk, and others, but I want to really dig into Move.

Here's a snippet from this article that has more info about Suiball
https://blog.sui.io/citadel-suiball-nati...re-wallet/
Quote:Suiball introduces a transparent, user-first approach to signing transactions called clear signing, which eliminates the guesswork common in legacy wallets with blind signing, one of the biggest security risks. Every transaction signed with Suiball is fully human-readable, presented through an intuitive modern UI, giving users the confidence to know exactly what they’re approving. The wallet supports all native Sui assets such as WAL, DEEP, NS and NFTs, DeFi platforms such as Suilend, Bluefin, Cetus, Ika, complete roster of Bitcoin DeFi products and native Bitcoin with future plans for Gaming and Payments use cases as well.

“Suiball represents the next phase of Sui’s device-layer strategy and extends Sui’s position as the first Layer 1 blockchain investing substantially in dedicated consumer-grade devices,” said Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and CTO for Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui. “With clear signing, Suiball offers a level of transaction transparency that is essential as BTCfi and other high-value use cases grow across the network.”
