Have seen alot of buzz online about online IDs being rolled out and plans of them being rolled out in the future , some European and Asian countries have all ready experienced things like this but what will be the response of everyone else ?

WIll you be sending your ID in to validate your age on discord so you can talk to your discord kitten ?
Do you have a plan to work around it if it hits your country ?
Will VPNs become obsolete in the future with everyone needing to validate some kind of ID to even connect to the internet ?

Let me know your thoughts and philosophy's on this new age of internet which is seemingly becoming less free

I'll probably leave social medias. To be honest I don't use them that much, nothing under my real identity, I'm using them only to rot my brain with doom scrolling. It would be a good thing for my brain.

Regarding Discord I have everything I need on forums, not fond of Discords. I could use IRC to Chat.

And for the Internet, I would find an alternative, not that hard to hack a wifi ... But I'll never give my ID for this.

It's been a month or two in France that you have to provide your ID to access p*rn websites, but you can easily bypass it with a VPN. Crazy to provide an ID card for this.

Yeah its already happening now with social media sites
if i ever need ID for accessing the whole internet... i will stop using it or find another way to access. already thinking of getting multiple hard drives and backing up all the media and stuff i find interesting to prep if this happens

Either way, I would never, as in never, do it.

No way I would ever enter my ID to access the internet, there will always be alternatives that I will try to use and if thats not possible at all, then there shall be no internet for me, sorry guys ;(
