New Rust-Based Malware "ChaosBot" Uses Discord Channels to Control Victims' PCs

Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed details of a new Rust-based backdoor called ChaosBot that can allow operators to conduct reconnaissance and execute arbitrary commands on compromised hosts.

I've been seeing a few things with Rust lately. We saw an explosion with Golang too. Anytime the core lang and compiler changes, there are breakthroughs because they're not sig detected as much compared to lets say GCC compiled programs are.
