Well, here we go folks. Another regurgitated Halo, remastered.... But this time it has 3 new levels that prelude the main story!!! And it has crossplay (pretty cool tbh).
Sarcasm aside, I am mildly excited for this. I remember playing OG Halo staying at my friends house. Beating the campaign and watching the Halo 2 trailer on repeat. Sure its been over 2 decades and the feels will never be the same. But their 'roundtable' made a good point that this is meant to introduce the next round of Halo gamers. (Wait, are they going to remaster them all one by one?)
They do kind of romanticize it though. Halo was different for its time and really changed a lot of fps game play for the better. Playing this with my kids and hoping they get the same introduced feelings is not really valid. Especially with the standards games have now...
Whatever, either way I'll buy it, beat the campaign in a couple nights and never touch it again.
