The caller, whose name was not publicly disclosed, told deputies that she had allegedly been in a physical altercation with her estranged biological mother, Serpil Adams, 62, who showed up to her home uninvited.

The mom was home with two young children when Adams came into the home through an unlocked door and allegedly attacked the caller with a serrated utility knife, the statement said.

The woman's 8-year-old daughter allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman — her grandmother — in the arm, police said.

Neither the children or their mother were injured during the incident, according to the Sheriff's Office! That means the grandma was about to stab the mother and she's been charged with attempted murder, but when her 8 year old grandchild stabbed her in the arm she ran off. Now she's going to prison for attempted murder .....allegedly.

I think this is just one crazy 62 year old. From the way the article is worded it seems like the mom was adopted and this was her psycho biological mother that had been rejected. Amazing that the mother and kids didn't get hurt at all because of the eight year old. Luckily the bio mom/grandma ran out of the house after being stabbed in the arm by the eight year old and didn't end up using her knife on the mom.
