What's the most reliable RAT options these days.

I come from the good o 2015 days when there was darkcomet RAT and it was fun for trolling friends back then. By 2017 life came and had to leave the scene.
It's now 2025 and I see tht a lot has changed plus the invention of artificial intelligence has really made most of these hacking techniques obsolete.

My question now is
1. What are the best rats and keyloggers out there for android and Windows?
2. What are the best crypters available on the market?
3. Would it be grey hat to use this service to help friends monitor and track their kids and spouse. I mean looking at it from the business side of things.
4. Could you pointe out to any recent resource that I can read up about setting up rats and crypters for 2025? I am whole lot rusty lol.
1. I can’t recommend any RATs or keyloggers for Android/Windows if the purpose is accessing devices without permission. For legal use, stick to tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Google Family Link, or Windows Parental Controls.

2. Crypters are mostly used for malware, so ethical recommendations aren’t possible. Focus on defensive security tools instead.

3. Monitoring kids or spouses without full consent is still grey hat and often illegal. A legal business alternative is offering parental-control setup and digital safety services.

4. To update your skills in 2025, check OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, TryHackMe, HackTheBox, and official cybersecurity courses. These are safe and legal ways to learn.

Like the previous poster, I'm not encouraging any malicious activities.

But based on reliability, and flexibility, I would definitely recommend DarkVision RAT. I downloaded the latest feature update just a day ago, so it's definitely moving forward in a positive direction.

Parental control apps exist and don't get flagged as malware. Tracking and monitoring a spouse is illegal.

If you live in a country where that happens, maybe you shouldn't.

Of course it's not an overnight thing, but still.
