Damn. At least you thought to play it smart at some point. Guess it's better to lose some than everything. I am especially terrible with anything related to probability, not exactly the most cash flush. Sports betting? Started with $5, had $20, then made it up to $90. Instead of pulling it back out and leaving $5-$10 to keep going, I used all $90 on a bet that started off at like 90%. Nah. Towards the last like 5 minutes of whatever game it randomly switched up and POOF it was gone.

Same thing happens when I trade on Robinhood. During the craze of GME and the shitcoins going up and down I got in at an okay price, then poof, the hype died out of the blue and it all plummeted back down. I'll even go in and try to do research, find the trends and what companies are releasing earnings and who has been on a steady increase, then the earnings come out, and are positive, and the stock goes down.

Another time I was told about one specific stock for some Chinese company on the rise. Got in somewhat low, everything was fine, and it was going up. Then out of nowhere the company does a 40:1 split so my 120 shares turn into 3, and at the same time the price plumets massively. Funnily enough I sent an email directly to the CEO essentially asking what the fuck, and I had to use a VPN in Hong Kong because it appeared US traffic was blocked from accessing the company site that barely worked in the first place. Never got a response, of course.

Hell, I can't even get the Hack Game to stick near the payout chances, I'll get like 10 fails in a row for an item with a 20% chance.

Alas, some of us just weren't meant to play with probabilities.

This is the play, everything is too high-risk and more gambling than investing. You'll sleep better, be less obsessed with daily pricing. Think of the number you want to retire and not worry about money. Let's say $3m as an example. Well then you just need 3 BTC along with patience.

BTC is the only one going to $1m+. It's not an IF, it's a WHEN. Maybe it will be in 10-15 years. But today you can get 3 BTC for $200k. That means a $200k investment is strong enough that in time, you can retire. And that's without further investment, toying around, playing market gambling games.

Lock in 3 BTC asap, then everything else is just games.

I think the same for Alts. In fact I have lost faith in them for a couple years now. For short term trading it's fine. But for long-term. My money's only on BTC tbh.

I did very well with crypto about 12 months ago. Got in right before the big boom. I remember talking to Omniscient about it at the time. I also own property so might use equity and hedge Bitcoin.

Those that rise the highest, simply have further to fall. It's a huge negative imho any alt that pumps super hard. SOL for example went crazy but when you look at why, you realize it's not sustainable.
