The price per user for this chain is insane.
50k daily active users and a 22 Billion dollar MC.
That gives it a $440,000 PPU.
Compared to SOL at $21k and ETH at $146k.
Charles does nothing except get on YT and bitch about random events. He made his money and doesnt care about the project anymore.
Charles was one of the few notable crypto developers that was not invited to the crypto summit at the Whitehouse. So the US clearly doesnt see a partnership with ADA.
The project is good dont get me wrong. One of the most decentralized cryptos, good tokenomics, easy staking, etc. It just has no adoption at all.
Hmm, I agree with a good few of your points. I just want to call out that I feel like Cardano always attempted to be a competitor to Ether & others, so I am not too surprised that they have remained... somewhat isolated.
It obviously didn't pan out as expected.
What do you think of this partnership deal?

I heard it had some doubters, and could be a marketing spin.
I noticed that Charles' response was "Midnight was designed to work within Cardano, not apart from it." which does not say that it IS within Cardano.
"I designed my car to be faster than a rocket, but it moves like a snail"
design != outcome, so that's 1 concern.
Active user value is high, but I would want to know about total holders and what defines 'active' to figure out more. It wouldn't surprise me if a number of ADA/Cardano holders are not active. I know at least 1 person who hasn't moved ADA or used their wallet in 3 years as an example of what I mean. Ether & others will have more active users because they do have the use cases whereas ADA's primary use case is unfortunately still holding.
I don't doubt he's on YT bitching lol.
He always got involved in trends & current events to pump the value, or at least that was a big criticism many people had about him years ago.
The White House crypto summit - not too sure what to say here. I think it's probably a mistake not to include Cardano, and it sounds like Trump originally planned to include them:
Quote:Hoskinson’s name was expected on the guest list for the Friday event after President Trump said that Cardano’s $35.6 billion token, ADA, would be included in a crypto reserve on Truth Social Sunday. “A U.S. Crypto Reserve will elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration, which is why my Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA,” Trump said in the post.
Take this with a grain of salt for this next part because I invested a bit more in US cryptos based on Trump's intentions & promises to help US cryptos more than others... But I agree with Charles here:
Quote:“I don’t need to make a deal with Trump,” Hoskinson, 37, said.
I think Trump will do more to extract value for his family & friends in the crypto space than he will do to improve the markets overall, and he may even chip away at decentralization to bring it back to US control for US-influenced/regulated exchanges & platforms.
Also from the sounds of it, Trump's appointed crypto guy David Sacks may be on the way out soon because of the 130 day SGO rule (same reason Musk had to stop working in WH officially).
Anyways, not really about Trump here - just pointing out that Charles not being invited to the WH is not the worst thing in the world, but also it is very strange because of what Trump had said (Cardano will be part of the official reserve) right before Charles got snubbed.
I will still need to research more about ADA. Can't say I am surprised to see it below $1, but I do not want to count it out just yet.
