Now they’re trending again, this time because Bowditch passed out mid‑show while hanging from the ceiling in a harness, which is a sentence no one expected to write about a man eligible for a SuperGold card.
The incident went down Monday (March 16) in Chicago. Their Instagram quickly posted a statement that basically said:
“Sorry about the whole ‘Pete dangling lifelessly above the crowd’ situation. He’s stable now. Refunds incoming. Europe tour still happening because apparently nothing stops this man.”
Bowditch later uploaded a video from his hospital bed, looking like someone who’d just respawned in a video game. “As you know, recently, I was pronounced dead on stage. The doctors managed to bring me back. Now to celebrate that, we’re announcing a tour to America!”
Tour dates aren’t out yet, but the caption confirmed they’re planning 14 shows in June — “because apparently the takeaway from dangling unconscious above a crowd is: ‘Let’s do this again, but with better hydration.’”.
