Turn HQ Threads Into Traffic Magnets

Hi HF users, quick thought but ever since I saw Cooligan post (read the whole thread to understand), the more I think about it, the more it actually makes sense…

So yeah, the idea with Stanley auto-sharing HQ threads is already solid, no doubt. Good content gets pushed out, more visibility, more eyes on the forum. Simple.

But I think there’s a way to push this way harder.

Like… what actually makes people click fast?

Not just “good content”. Let’s be honest.

Money.

Or anything that feels like money.

Turn HQ Threads Into Traffic Magnets

Imagine this.

Someone posts a legit HQ thread, guide, contest, whatever… but with rewards, money or Bytes, and yeah specify clearly that Bytes can be sold for real money.

Now Stanley picks it up automatically and blasts it.

Not once, but twice per platform.

Except Reddit, obviously… What I know, it hates the word “hack” (from link here), so that’s kinda dead there.

But X? Other socials? That’s free traffic if done right.

And the titles matter a lot here.

Stuff like:
  1. “High chances to win $250 in this insane contest posted by Moooookie
  2. “How users are making real money on our platform”
  3. “Don’t miss your chance to win easy money, $100–$300 giveaways live now”
  4. “Users are earning real cash daily, here’s how you can too”
  5. “Join now and win Bytes you can actually sell for real money”
You get the idea.

Not fake hype, just… framed in a way that actually makes people stop scrolling.

Because nobody clicks “nice tutorial”.

But they will click “win $250 ... win $200... win $50”.

Now check out this awesome contest put together by 7 You don’t even need to have your account upgraded to join, and YES, there’s a real chance to win $200, actual money, just by hopping on the forum and answering a few riddles… seriously, easy money.

Why This Would Actually Work

I’m pretty convinced more people would join faster if there’s something to gain immediately.

Not even big amounts.

Just the idea of winning something.

And once they land on HF, they won’t just leave instantly… they’ll check other categories, threads, maybe even start posting.

That’s how you hook people.

Also, if the steps to join are simple and visible, like:
  1. make an account
  2. maybe upgrade
  3. reply or complete a task
Then yeah… some will upgrade just to participate, especially if the reward feels worth it.

And now combine that with Stanley auto-sharing these threads everywhere?

It becomes less about “posting content” and more about running mini traffic campaigns every time.

Kinda feels like wasted potential if it’s not used like this, honestly.

Curious what others think… is this too aggressive or exactly what HF needs right now?

I kinda “stole” this idea from Cooligan.

Yeah, like I said, it’s not originally mine, it comes from Cooligan post:
Link: But honestly, it’s a really good idea and it deserves to be developed further. I just added the contest angle, because I think that’s what really pulls people in, when they see the word “money”… people just click 💯.

Thanks for the shoutout JoseMar <3
I really think this would be a net positive for HF. It feels like a good time now too since we just got an official image hosting site for the forum; that feature alone will attract new users in my opinion.

## My idea in a nutshell:
Use Stanley with the HF API to autopost HQ guides, TuTs, reviews, or significant contests/giveaways posted by members that are either on a whitelist themselves, or even approved via a specific whitelisted usergroup (more on this in below paragraph). All of this would be an effort toward increasing traffic to HF and of course new member registrations. We could even potentially offer signup bonuses for new members coming from other social medias, granting them an X amount of Bytes, or perhaps even a temporary L33T membership of ~3-7 days so they can get a true feel for the forum.

I suggested we could also revive the old official "HF Review3rs" group, but this time not use it for anything Marketplace related, and instead only use it strictly for scanning HF for new HQ content that's worthy of being crossposted on HF's other official social media pages, such as X and Reddit for example. Essentially, the new "Review3rs" would act as a forum team, all vetted and whitelisted by Omniscient of course, meant to try and increase traffic to HF by crossposting HQ onsite content for the world to see on other social media platforms.

I really hope you all like this idea, I really do! I'd also love to hear what everyone thinks about it.

edit: JoseMar amazing add-on-idea for the contests/giveaways. Those would definitely incentivize new member registrations!

Free money always attracts! I think it's a clever idea.

Edit: But I'm thinking, surely there's giveaways on platforms like 4chan as well; We don't see those either. It could very well be that traffic like that will get shadow banned or banned entirely. Due to the type of content found here. Iirc HF has had trouble with SEO for this exact reason before no?

Yes, I understand what you’re trying to say 💯, but the trick is to avoid using words like “giveaway,” “cracks,” “free money,” “hacks,” and so on. It’s actually very simple to prompt an AI not to use these words in the text or title.

In this example I said…

Quote:“Don’t miss your chance to win easy money, $100–$300 giveaways live now”

so the word “giveaways” needs to be eliminated, but you get the point. 🙂

I'll have to read this in the morning. It's late now.
Nice idea , but idk if meta (face and insta ) will allow this ?

Spent 2 days on the Wiki and finally at a place I can do something else. Mix is going to fix the theme from here....

So to read this first post now with more time....

Sharing the posts where? In Convo he already notifies all new threads.

Stanley can't just spam social media. I do post good threads to the HF X account. And yes, I could automate that. But why does Stanley have to be involved?

I'm already considering the concept of Telegram Notifications. It seems to be a better fit for HF.

I do have the mechanism for Stanley to make replies to threads. I have not yet decided on implementation. Do I want it all threads? Random threads? Certain forums? If Stanley is mentioned?

Not even sure I'm all that excited about more Stanley AI content. Already added Stanley posting threads from RSS feeds. He's literally creating half of the sites threads now. Most don't get replies, even though I added an Award Goal for it.

Nobody gives a fuck about content anymore. People come here wanting to do deals. They get content from AI. The few socializers we have on HF sit in Convo.

Does more AI content bring HF more real people content? Starting to think it doesn't. I've not seem much proof it does. Most of us are in AI chats all day more than we're anywhere else.

One thing I need to do is just encourage other members to share via their own social media. It's a better concept except often members don't want their private social media accounts exposed so they'll use accounts with no followers which is meaningless.

Really nothing stops members from just making good tuts with AI and posting them. If the idea is that Stanley does it, well how does that really make more human interaction on HF?

Not trying to Debbie Downer any of this because partially I already plan on more of this anyways.
