Pentagon releases 3rd batch of UFO files, detailing mysterious orb sightings: "Are you seeing this?"

Washington — The Pentagon on Friday released a new group of documents and videos related to UFOs, or UAPs, the third release since the government began a wave of new disclosures last month.

The latest batch includes 53 documents and 10 images from the CIA, FBI, NASA, the Department of Defense and other unspecified agencies, along with six videos and three NASA audio recordings. The videos show orb-like objects in the sky, while a set of images and clips offer "artistic interpretations" of reported sightings.

Several of the documents detail encounters reported by federal law enforcement officers in 2023, in which five agents reported seeing strange orbs on the horizon. One agent recounted their partner asking, "Are you seeing this?" as a glowing orb lit up the sky.

What's in the latest files?
The Pentagon uploaded the files to its UFO website. Four of the videos show eyewitness footage of strange encounters, a shift from previous releases, which were dominated by military footage. The new videos, which were collected by the FBI, include details from interviews with the witnesses.

One encounter happened in July 2025. The video, titled "Northeastern Orb Sighting," shows two bright lights moving through the sky.

"The witnesses described the orbs' motion as silent and smooth, and as moving in tandem as though they were flying in formation or tethered together," the video description said, citing the FBI's interviews.

Interesting that there are now videos verified by the US government. I wonder what the actual object or phenomenon might be and why did the US Gov decided to release such videos.

Indeed. Just imagine that we've only explored about 5–10% of the ocean. I don't think we'll ever truly know what's down there.

It's called a distraction. They want you to look and spend time on this. It stops you from thinking about certain other files.

How will we relate to the various scriptures when it finally happens? I'm an atheist myself so it wont affect me in that sense, but the fundamentalists will go beserk when their whole world view crumbles under their feet.

Also curious what aliens actually look like and if there are lots of different types.

I don't think aliens will debunk any particular beliefs, including scripture-literalist ones.

The Bible, for example, is clear: God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them.

I think the questions they would ask are "Did they need Christ's sacrifice?", "Are the human-specific claims in scripture relevant to them?" instead of having an entire philosophy crumble.

It's much easier to integrate another intelligent species into religion than you might think.

You're right about the heavens and the earth, but devout or fundamentalist religious people (especially Christians and Muslims) may go full ape if anything tangible, like extra terrestrials, disproves their core belief system. I can imagine someone like Christian Cleetus Jackson in Alabama reaching for his assault rifle when his god turns out to be mostly fluff; his atheist neighbors would have to run for cover on disclosure day.

While I reckon it is more realistic to expect other life out there, than none, my issue are the pedo cabals running the current system, the debt money we are using and the constant debauchery of the human spirit akin to what Uncle Ted has explained, to a T.

UFO / Alien stuff is most likely either a buildup to some fake and gay AI / lightshow, or a complete misdirection. Or both, depending on your timing.
