Started playing WoW at the launch of the Dragonflight expansion pack, had a wonderful time until I started heroic raiding and learned what parsing and warcraftlogs.com is. My guild leader had my look into the top 250 evokers for me to copy and learn from, he instructed me to ignore the top 100 because he thinks theyre all hackers. My brain is wired to hear that and immediately go download a 3rd party rotation bot. Overnight I turned into a raid cheater on autopilot parsing high 90s every pull. I knew from running the bot that it made mistakes and that there was really no realistic way to account for everything going on and make a perfect bot. I had to become perfect! I followed the wowhead guide made a few tweeks and started playing manually with no bots at 99% parse every time we killed any boss, solid 99s accross the board. most people would be happy with analytical data stating that they play there spec/class better then 99% of other top level gamers also raiding that class/spec combo. I needed to beat 100% of them, there can only be one person with the golden 100 parse for a boss kill and you will lose it the second another manages to kill that boss having done one single damage point higher per second then you. I had to start my bullshit again so I turned to social engineering and started convincing raid groups of 24 other people excluding myself to intentionally do mechanics wrong and fuck up as much as possible for some bosses where i needed a longer kill time to pull off the 100, or to spawn more adds by having all 24 people stand in one circle for broodkeeper instead of everyone going in there own so we spawn the maximum number of adds that only im allowed to kill while you kill the boss in the background. convincing the raid that me and my guardian druid tank who was also going for 100 parses for his class we're capable of doing the job that should be 12-14 peoples. Worked wonderfully, we blew that boss kill damage out of the park exceeding what anybody else pulled off by like 200% damage. other kills required god comps where everybodys full bis mythic gear fully upgraded and knows mechanics perfectly for ultra fast kills. some bosses we're able to skip entire phases by just doing so much damage that they fall over before they can phase, i think my record for a heroic boss kill is like 12 seconds into the pull lol
anyway i ended up getting my screen shot of 100 parses accross the board on every boss for my personal archive. the name is lazychad-ilidan if this story needs backing up you can just go put me into WCL database and see the data be going back in time a few expansions and reviewing logs
