Zach Cregger has once again, done it! I saw this a couple of weeks back, it was solid. The best way I can describe it: imagine it being someone's first time playing the resident evil games

Is this one actually good? All the previous one's seem to be mediocre

It's definitely a must watch. Nothing like the older ones with guns blasting and such, different director.

Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil ignores the lore and legacy characters and instead captures what it actually feels like to play the games. It’s a love letter to the gameplay rather than the mythology. Abrams is excellent as Bryan, a medical courier who is woefully unprepared to survive Raccoon City, and his sheer panic fuels some of the funniest horror comedy in years. The creature effects are disgusting in the best possible way, and the tight 90-minute runtime keeps things moving, even if the third act gets a little messy. It’s easily the best Resident Evil film yet.
